Thai Accent
About This Spot
Stepping into Thai Accent at VivoCity feels like finding a quiet moment amid the bustle of the harbourfront. Perched on the second floor with large windows overlooking the water, the space invites a gentle pause—a chance to watch the slow ripple of the waterfront while warming up to the inviting hum of softly spoken conversations and clinking plates.
This isn’t a place rushing you through your meal but one that offers a calm rhythm, where the pace lets you linger on familiar Thai flavors or savor new ones. The décor strikes a balance between polished simplicity and welcoming comfort, making it a fitting refuge whether you’re catching a midday break or settling in for an evening meal with friends.
The menu honors the traditional dishes you’d expect from a Thai kitchen, yet it also nods thoughtfully to those seeking vegetarian options without feeling like an afterthought. Aromatic and fresh, the flavors often come through in vibrant greens, tangy notes, and well-rounded spices that echo the care behind each plate. It’s a place where something as classic as Pad Thai carries a familiar warmth, and a sip of Thai iced coffee feels like a small celebration of everyday pleasure.
The atmosphere is quietly steady, reflecting a respect for the food and the company gathered around the table. There’s an ease here, a kind of understated confidence, that draws in a mix of visitors—those who’ve come for the genuine taste of Thailand and those who simply appreciate a peaceful spot with a view.
Thai Accent in VivoCity gently reminds us that dining can be a warm, contemplative experience—one framed by simple joys, slow moments, and a touch of authentic comfort.

If you’re looking to skip the long queues during peak hours, this restaurant is a solid choice! The prices aren’t the cheapest, but the food quality has remained consistently delicious after all these years. Highly recommend ordering the Kang Kung vegetables, Chicken with Cashew Nuts, and Red Tom Yum Soup — all are excellent. You can probably skip the spring rolls, though, as they’ve dropped in standard recently. Bonus tip: Just ask for ice water — no need to buy bottled water even though it’s listed on the menu.

Thai Accent at VivoCity is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors with a view! Located on the second floor, the restaurant overlooks the scenic waterfront, offering a peaceful ambiance that enhances the dining experience. The menu is extensive, featuring all the classic Thai favorites like Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Tom Yum Soup. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and the perfect balance of spices, capturing the true essence of Thai cuisine. The portions are generous, and the flavors are rich and aromatic without being overly spicy—although you can request extra heat if you’re up for it! The highlight here is the pineapple fried rice, beautifully presented in a carved-out pineapple, and the mango sticky rice for dessert, which is sweet and refreshing. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff who are quick to offer recommendations and ensure a pleasant dining experience. With its delicious food, welcoming staff, and beautiful views, Thai Accent at VivoCity is a great choice for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai food in a comfortable and scenic setting!

When on a Sunday lunch around 2:30pm as there were little people in the restaurant. Waited at the entrance and had a few staff that saw us but ignored us. Overall food were served quickly and it tasted good, just had a small issue at the entrance that’s it.

Finding excellent vegetarian options for my mother can often be a challenge in Vivo, but our visit to this Thai restaurant was an absolute delight. The menu offered a thoughtful selection of authentic Thai vegetarian dishes, each bursting with vibrant flavours and fresh ingredients. The *Pad Thai Jay* (vegetarian Pad Thai) was a standout—perfectly balanced with just the right tanginess and a satisfying texture. We also loved the *Coconut Soup*, which was aromatic and creamy, yet light on the palate. The staff were attentive and happy to confirm which dishes were fully vegetarian, putting my mother at ease. Will be back for the non-vegetarian dishes.

Today I had a quick dinner at a Thai restaurant located in VivoCity. My table had a nice view overlooking Sentosa. Since I came around 4:30pm, the place wasn’t crowded and the food was served very quickly. I ordered Pad Thai and overall, the dish was tasty. However, I was disappointed that they used frozen shrimp instead of fresh ones. With the price point, I would expect fresh shrimp to be served. The total bill was $26 for the Pad Thai and a Thai iced lemon

I went to Thai Accent for a team lunch, and we ordered a bunch of dishes—every single one was fantastic. Authentic Thai flavors all around, but a special shoutout has to go to their pandan leaf chicken. Wrapped in pandan leaves, the chicken was incredibly tender, perfectly marinated, and bursting with umami in every bite. It was hands down the highlight of the meal. Other standouts included the seafood tom yum soup, which was packed with seafood and had just the right level of spice, and the fried rice, which was smoky and packed with flavour. Despite our large order, the food arrived quickly, and the staff were super friendly and attentive throughout. I’ll definitely be back, and if you’re into authentic Thai food, this place is a must-try. 9/10.

When you do not wish to queue, this restaurant is an alternative but be prepared for the high price, especially if u ordered the fish. The only good thing is the access to the boardwalk from the restaurant for u to see the sunset.
